CLOVER is working closely with the District Council of Mount Remarkable and local community to develop a multi-stage redevelopment of their foreshore playspace to provide a tourism and local destination for recreation. The town has the second longest jetty (formerly the longest) in the southern hemisphere and is a popular fishing and crabbing location. Acknowledgement for the Nukunu people as the traditional owners and inhabitants of the land is a highly important part of the project as well as its strong connection the Ikara-Flinders Ranges. The project used these inspirations and local heritage to guide the design concept.
