Green Adelaide Guidelines

CLOVER worked with Green Adelaide to produce the Adelaide Garden Guide for New Homes which serves to promote and maximise the benefits of trees and gardens within infill development.

Developed as advisory material of the Planning and Design Code, the Guide seeks to make the tree and soft landscaping policies easier to understand and apply. Stepping residential applicants through planning for, designing, planting and maintaining a garden, inspiration and pragmatism is balanced to promote best practice greening.

With minor infill development a significant contributor to loss of urban green cover, the Guide is an important education and advocacy measure to improve the resilience and liveability of our neighbourhoods.
