Portside Senior School

CLOVER worked with Portside Senior School to develop a masterplan to work in with their new school building. The design was focused on improving connectivity and softening the new building through plantings, seating opportunities, pathways and spatial design. Areas of shade and protection were incorporated along with a range of social spaces to reflect the needs of students. The site includes a mix of active and quiet play zones as well as small seating nooks and large gathering spaces for multifunctional and flexible use. As well as incorporating elements of water sensitive urban design to facilitate the drainage on site and create outdoor learning opportunities. It is a place to connect with peers, share stories, learn, play and explore.
